On the photo you see Zoë and me having fun at the breakfast table.
It's been a while since the last comic...
To make a long story short: I've decided to end the comic.
Zoë is 4 years old now and started going to school last month. It's funny because that is when she sets her first steps in her own life. For me that was a good point to stop the comic. Apart from that, I think 350 comics is something I definitely wouldn't have thought possible when I started this in March 2006.
I've enjoyed drawing the comic and I think (I hope) Zoë will enjoy reading it when she's older as it tells the story of her growing up and of me adjusting to being a dad ;)
I hope you enjoyed reading Raising Zoë as well and, if you're a parent, I'm sure you recognize a lot of the situations.
I'll leave you with a last update on Zoë:
She can read and write her own name.
She can read all numbers.
She answers "I don't remember" if you ask her what she did in school today.
She entered the "why?" phase (It drives me nuts sometimes ;)).
She loves going to school.
She enjoys asking other kids to play together at their home or our home.
She almost knows how to ride a bike (without "side support")
She loves to play games on the Playstation, especially Dora the Explorer and racing games (Cars, Cocoto Kart)
She is a master in slowing down everything she does when it's time to go to bed.
When playing by herself she tells complete stories and has elaborate conversations with her toys.
